"With the food at KITE, I want to serve something different but with familiar flavours, drawing from tradition, and what we eat and love," Chef Dannel says. "It's about bringing contemporary techniques together with playful experimentation to express the food in its highest form."

Born and raised in Singapore, Head Chef Dannel Krishnan finds inspiration everywhere: from the cultures that have influenced his upbringing and palate, the fine-dining establishments that he's worked at in the past, to the regular laksa store in a neighbourhood kopitiam.
The food at KITE is therefore very close to Chef Dannel's heart, as he takes local and regional techniques, flavours, and produce and gives them the recognition and respect that they deserve.
